How ToolRank works

What this site is, and how the pages are made.

ToolRank is a static directory of AI tools. The pages are generated from tools.json.

Rankings

Each use case has a short list of editorial picks. The order and the short reasons are opinions about which tools fit that job.

New releases

The new releases feed lists notable launches, newest first. A launch is added only after it is confirmed on the company's own announcement, model card, or docs. That page is linked on the entry as the source. Each release has a stable link on that page, and llms.txt lists those links with the official source.

Dates

Each tool page and each use-case page shows the date its entry last changed. On a tool page, that same date is shown again as last verified, and it is dateModified in the page's SoftwareApplication data.

Feeds

New releases are also published as an RSS feed at /feed.xml and as a JSON Feed at /feed.json. A short machine-readable index is at /llms.txt, and a longer text export of the directory is at /llms-full.txt.

Newsletter

The newsletter is free. The signup form on each page asks for an email address.
